Brimsmore Gardens receives GCA Award for Environmental Opportunities
Yeovil-based Brimsmore Gardens is among the Garden Centre Association’s (GCA) Wales & West regional award-winners once again this year, picking up first place and a Certificate of Merit in the Environmental Opportunities category. Brimsmore Gardens’ latest award follows the GCA’s round of unannounced annual inspections earlier in the year and recognise the continuous improvements made at the centre in areas relating to its environmental impact on the wider community. Learners from Yeovil College have shown their film about the Westland World Helicopter Speed Record – Westland ONE – to a public audience for the first time. It was watched by former Westland staff and local business leaders at Yeovil College and received great praise.
