Latest First World War donation tells the story of two Yeovil War Memorial soldiers

The latest donation contains photographs of two soldiers who are on Yeovil’s War Memorial – Ernest ‘Dyke’ Luffman and Earle Mitchell. Appeal for kitten owner to come forward

Lost Cat 2A lost little black kitten got the ride of its life when it was found under the wheel-arch of a council vehicle that travelled from Yeovil to Bruton! The kitten was believed to have boarded the vehicle at South Somerset District Council’s Lufton Depot on Artillery Road in Yeovil, where staff got a shock when they arrived in Bruton and discovered their extra passenger on Wednesday 16 July.
