Visitors to one of Yeovil’s most popular Country Parks can now dazzle at an amazing piece of artwork that has been completed over the summer. As part of the V3 Involve Visit Volunteer, Heritage Lottery Funded Project at Yeovil Country Park, a fantastic mural has been painted on a concrete covered stretch of wall alongside the current cycleway which follows the original route of the former railway line, adjacent to the site of the old Hendford Halt Station (where B&M now stands). Photo Sharing Session to help unearth Yeovil Country Park history
Local residents are being invited by South Somerset District Council to share old photographs of Yeovil Country Park as part of the Heritage Lottery Funded Project V3; inVolve, Visit, Volunteer.
