Celebrating the extraordinary craftsmanship of the textile industry from 14th century to present day, this stunning new exhibition for 2016 is a collation of some of the most beautiful and rare vestments and ecclesiastical textiles from around the country. Wells Recreation Ground Trust update
Mendip District Council is seeking an independent expert to validate the best scheme for the Wells Recreation Ground Trust (WRGT) to ensure the new trust has a viable and sustainable future. New Palace Pastor to provide prayers for Palace visitors and staff
The Revd. Anne Roberts has been appointed to the newly formed role of Palace Pastor. Based at the Bishop’s Palace, Anne will offer pastoral and spiritual care to visitors, volunteers and staff. She will move from Cumbria to take up the post. She will be joined by her husband, the Venerable Kevin Roberts, Archdeacon of Carlisle, who has been appointed to the role of Director of ReSource, a Wells-based charity working to support the growth of the Church nationally.
