Ferne Animal Sanctuary in Wambrook near Chard were thrilled to receive two donations recently from “Support Adoption for Pets” raised by customers from Axminster and Taunton Pets at Home stores. The Axminster store raised a whopping £1,115.85 and the Taunton store £642.25. Somerset Animal Charity Appeal Nears £500,000 Goal
Ferne Animal Sanctuary has nearly reached their goal to raise £500,000 towards the “New Digs for Dogs” £1m project for 2014/15 kicked off in March this year, to build a new enhanced kennel block, improved grooming and veterinary care room, information hub, social unit, offices, reception and purpose built rehoming centre at their site at Wambrook, near Chard in Somerset. An incredible £457,311.97 has been raised so far, with the final push now underway.
