With the best ever high grades achieved at Strode College for A Levels and advanced level vocational qualifications, and another outstanding set of results, students and staff have plenty to celebrate. Over 600 students completed courses at Strode this summer and many returned to college to celebrate their excellent results with friends and staff and to look forward to exciting times ahead. A Level Textiles students at Strode College had some fantastic news recently, when they secured substantial funding from The Doris Southcott Bursary. Sue Green, Textiles teacher at Strode College, said: “I originally applied for £9000, so I was incredibly surprised and extremely grateful to be awarded £30,000! This will enable our students to achieve goals that may previously have been unfeasible due to costs.” Full story: Read more
Strode College held its annual student awards celebration in Strode Theatre last week (18 April), with 30 students who completed courses last year welcomed back to be honoured in front of friends, family and teachers. Full story: Read more
