Local residents are being invited by South Somerset District Council to share old photographs of Yeovil Country Park as part of the Heritage Lottery Funded Project V3; inVolve, Visit, Volunteer. A six foot python, a living statue, music on every corner, craft activities and an eclectic mix of market stalls – all this and more on a Saturday in Yeovil. Super Saturday will take place on 24 September from 9.30am and includes all of the above and much more until 4pm. Held annually on the grassed area at Yeovil Country Park, besides the Ninesprings Cafe, South Somerset District Council’s Fun Dog show is always a date for the diary. This year, the event will be held on Sunday 19 June and dogs of all breeds and ages are welcome, although sadly there are restrictions on puppies under 6 months of age entering the show.
