RARE OIL BY ROYAL FAVOURITE EDWARD SEAGO COULD MAKE £30,000

Yeovil Montacute Parkrun 5th Birthday – 1st September

Yeovil Montacute parkrun turns 5 this coming Saturday (1st September) and like any nervous 5 year old, will be going “Off to School” to celebrate!

Since starting on 7th September 2013, there have been 7,786 participants taking part and between them runners have completed 53,907 parkruns covering a total distance of 269,535 km. The weekly free event attracts runners from all over the country – particularly as one of the few “Y” events as runners try to complete their “parkrun alphabet”, and on Saturday there were 379 people who ran, jogged and walked the 5km course, including 71 first time parkrunners – and hundreds of Montacute sheep tried to join in!

The birthday run starts at 9am and is open to all – runners need to register for their free barcode at www.parkrun.com and just turn up (dressing in school uniform this week is optional!)
