FOOD ENTERPRISE ZONE CREATED IN SOMERSET TO DRIVE GROWTH

Eleven new zones across England will free up food and farming businesses, making it simpler and easier for them to grow, and will attract new businesses. Have your say on Mendip’s economic growth

Mendip District CouncilA consultation is being held in Mendip to allow local residents and businesses to have their say on proposals aimed to encourage economic growth in the district. As part of the Economic Development Strategy for Mendip, which was approved by the council in 2013, Mendip District Council designated the Bath and West Showground near Shepton Mallet as an Enterprise Area.
