With work towards establishing a new public services hub in the centre of Mendip now well under way, a new information leaflet has been created to explain exactly what the hub is and how it will help improve access to a wide range of services in one place.The new hub will be officially known as the Shape Mendip Hub. A chance to shape your neighbourhood
A consultation is being held in Mendip to allow residents of Shepton Mallet to have their say on the boundary of the new Neighbourhood Plan, which is being prepared by the town council. The Localism Act 2011 introduced new rights and powers for communities to shape new development by preparing Neighbourhood Plans for their areas.
