LIFE OF CAR CRIME BEGINS EARLY FOR CHEEKY MONKEYS
When you’re born in to a dynasty of master car thieves it’s perhaps not surprising that a life of petty crime starts early among Longleat’s infamous troop of rhesus macaque monkeys. This trio of juvenile delinquents were spotted playing tug-of-war with a section of car trim which they had recently ‘liberated’ from a passing vehicle at the Wiltshire safari park. KEEPERS KEEP THUNDER BIRDS IN THE PINK
Five flamingo chicks are having to be hand reared by keepers at Longleat Safari & Adventure Park after the eggs were abandoned by their parents during a thunderstorm. Keepers at the Wiltshire wildlife park are using syringes to feed the endangered Chilean flamingos after all the eggs were artificially hatched in an incubator. Adult flamingos build a volcano-shaped nest and lay a single egg, which they then usually sit on for around a month. Full Story: Read More
