A rare pair of cheetah cubs are thriving after being born at Longleat Safari Park. The cubs’ birth is a first for the Wiltshire wildlife attraction, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. ARTISTS CREATING UK’S LARGEST LANTERN FESTIVAL AT LONGLEAT
A team of highly-skilled artists from Zigong in China’s Sichuan province are hard at work creating thousands of giant illuminated lanterns as part of The Festival of Light event which opens at Longleat in Wiltshire on November 11th. Among the extraordinary artworks are a trio of life-size porcelain elephants, painstakingly made out of thousands of individual Chinese plates, bowls, cups and spoons. Full story: Read more
