Leweston pupil, Lorna (aged 9) has been awarded second place in a national poster competition about Staying Safe Online. The competition was run by the charity, Out of Your Hands, which supports exploring the digital world safely and happily. Leweston Pupil Awarded Top Cambridge University Chemistry Award
Leweston Sixth Former and Academic Scholar, Katarzyna Zator, has won the highest award for excellence, the Roentgenium Award, at the prestigious and highly competitive Cambridge University Chemistry Challenge Competition. This remarkable achievement placed Katarzyna in the top 0.7% of over 8,000 entrants nationwide and qualified her to attend a 3 day residential Chemistry Camp at the University. Full story: Read more
Leweston School Host Cake Sale in Aid of Macmillan Cancer Support
Leweston School proudly supported Macmillan’s ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ by organising a coffee morning at the Junior Department and cake sale at the Senior School. The pupils donated a great variety of delicious cakes and other treats all of which were too tempting to resist as they were sold and enjoyed equally as quickly. The school is delighted that their baking efforts raised over £300 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
