A welfare benefits ‘drop-in’ surgery is set to open to the public in Langport on Tuesday 29 October. It’s an opportunity for residents to drop in and seek advice or speak with a Welfare Advice Officer. The surgery has been organised by South Somerset District Council so that residents can check what benefits they may be entitled to, receive help in applying and review “what if” calculations if their circumstances change.
