This year’s students carried on the School’s tradition of achieving strong results with a 93% overall pass rate. 29% of all grades were A*/A, outperforming the national rate of 25.9%, and 36% of grades were A* to B. The school gained an increase of over 17% in the A*- B grades range from last year. New Laser Printer for Zest Café
When they heard that their old printer was giving them some grief The Blackmore Vale Lions together with Gillingham, Mere and Shaftesbury Lions joined forces to provide a state of the art Laser Printer to the Zest Café project in Sherborne. Dorset One World Festival is hailed a success the second year running
The sun shone on the Borough Gardens and the Festival kicked off from 11am with a lively African Dance workshop with the Mayor and Mayoress and the Town Crier joining in the spirit of the day. The Festival trumped last year’s event with diverse performances on the World Music and Dance Stage and activities around the site with demonstrations ranging from African drumming, Latvian Dance, and Chinese Cookery with local celebrity chef, Andy Chu.
