Plankbridge Master Hutmakers is returning to RHS Chelsea Flower Show, the UK’s most prestigious flower show, for the fourth year running and has enlisted the help of a Dorset Wildlife Trust Forest School to build two bug hotels for its wildlife friendly tradestand exhibit. Handmade by pupils from Upton Junior School near Poole, Dorset, the bug hotels will be on display alongside Plankbridge’s Victorian-inspired shepherd’s hut from Tuesday 23 – Saturday 27 May 2017. RSPB flies into Knoll Gardens
The RSPB will be bringing its expertise and advice to Wimborne’s Knoll Gardens for a special Open Day on Friday 28 April. From 8am the RSPB will lead an early morning guided stroll. Timed to take place before the gardens open to the public, the tranquil surroundings provide the perfect setting to listen as Knoll’s many birds greet the new day with their song.
