Two outstanding Oriental silk robes added an elegant flourish to a successful sale of vintage and collectable textiles and fashion at Lawrences in Crewkerne on May 15th. AUCTIONEERS PEDDLE A RARE BICYCLE
A rare early bicycle is to be sold by Lawrences Auctioneers of Crewkerne. Dating from 1902, this bicycle was made by Imperial Rover in Coventry. It was one of a few shaft driven experimental bikes that were made by the firm and it was ridden by Mr Walter Driver, an employee of Imperial Rover and founder of Driver’s Toy Shop.
