Chilton Cantelo School’s catering team, Thomas Franks, put on a morning of games, quizzes, coffee, cake and a prize draw for a special cake to raise £300 for Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning last Friday. The school’s Merlin Café was filled with pupils, parents, staff and school friends making donations towards the charity. The raffle prize was a magnificently detailed and elaborate cake made by hand by Mrs Neville who regularly makes cakes like this for the school. The cake draw winner was Mrs Roberts, school receptionist.
