Somerset animal sanctuary offers cookery workshops
Ferne Animal Sanctuary in Wambrook, near Chard, Somerset are inviting everyone, whatever their ability, to come along and learn how to bake bread with their resident chef, Richard Kingdon. Participants will learn how to prepare and cook varieties including Irish soda bread, focaccia and gluten free. Chef Richard said: “I’m really looking forward to running these cookery classes. Free parking in Chard, Crewkerne and Ilminster over the festive period
Festive cheer will be spread to shoppers in Chard, Crewkerne and Ilminster with the news that they will be able to park for free on the two Saturdays before Christmas. South Somerset District Council’s (SSDC) Area West Committee has agreed to fund free parking on Saturday 12 and 19 December to encourage shoppers to support our market towns in the festive season and rediscover what can be bought locally.
