Local ladies celebrate summer dining
It was time to raise a glass or two at a recent Summer Dining flower arranging workshop held at Combe St Nicholas Village Hall, near Chard in Somerset. With great enthusiasm and an abundance of beautiful roses, ladies from Chard, Ilminster, Wadeford, Combe St Nicholas, Yeovil and Axminster learnt how to make three designs for their summer dining room tables. Go wild at Chard Countryside Day in July
If you haven’t visited before, the perfect opportunity to make a first foray over to the beautiful Local Nature Reserve reservoir site at Chard is coming up in July. Chard Reservoir is owned and managed by South Somerset District Council, it has lovely woodland walks, watery views and meadows alive with insects and flowers; Chard Countryside Day is a great time to explore the reserve and all it offers.
