Bumper Year for Charity Fun Dog Show
Staff at Ferne Animal Sanctuary in Wambrook, Near Chard, Somerset are celebrating due to the success of their annual Fun Dog Day held on Sunday 7th September 2014. Despite there being many other events on the same day, great weather encouraged a huge turnout of competitors and winners from Dorset, Devon and Somerset. Local Animal Charity Appeal Reaches £100,000!
Ferne Animal Sanctuary is celebrating after the “New Digs for Dogs” appeal in aid of their £1million project for 2014/15 recently reached the £100,000 milestone. The Sanctuary launched the project in March this year to build a new enhanced kennel block, improved grooming and veterinary care room, information hub, social unit, offices, reception and purpose built rehoming centre at their site in Wambrook, Chard, Somerset.
