Fine quality gemstones were sparkling successes at Lawrences’ recent jewellery auction in Crewkerne. Amongst a 350-lot selection of jewellery and watches that saw some frantically keen bidding, the auctioneers were pleased to achieve £3170 for a Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust amongst other good prices but a lot of loose diamonds that totalled 35 carats set the scene for what was to follow as they made £7320.
