A rare Dunhill lighter is to be sold by Lawrences Auctioneers of Crewkerne. This table lighter is known as an Aquarium Lighter and they were made by Dunhill from the 1950’s onwards. They have lucite panels on both sides with the interiors hand painted showing fish and underwater foliage. It measures 8cms high and 9.5cms across, and comes in very good condition. West Somerset Railway celebrate BRONZE award
At the Bristol Bath & Somerset Awards, the West Somerset Railway were awarded BRONZE in the Large Attraction of the year grouping. The winners were judged by a panel of experts. Steeleye Span to play Cheese and Grain & Octagon Theatre during UK Tour
Steeleye Span are fast approaching their 50th anniversary, with a work rate to put many younger artists to shame. The bands’ eighth album in twelve years – 2016’s Dodgy Bastards – saw them return to the folk tales and characters that have always been at the heart of the Steeleye sound.
