RARE HISTORIC NAVAL WARBIRDS TO PERFORM AT AIR DAY
Royal Naval Air Station Yeovilton Air Day 2016 on Saturday 2 July will host a rare pair of restored WW2 fighters at the Royal Navy’s premier airshow. Joining RNAS Yeovilton’s resident historic naval aircraft, the UK’s only active Corsair and one of just three Seafires airworthy in the world will both perform solo displays and a joint flypast during Air Day’s five-hour flying display. Sunflower Challenge is on!
Ferne Animal Sanctuary has thrown down the gauntlet to Primary School children in Somerset to see just how green their fingers are by growing the tallest sunflower. To help them on their way, Otter Nurseries are generously providing Ferne with free packets of sunflower seeds to give away to schools who’d like to take part. Full story: Read more
