With the deadline fast approaching, Somerset businesses are being reminded to get their entries in for the prestigious Somerset Business Awards, before it’s too late! The closing date for award applications is 30 August at 5.00pm, so it is now or never for businesses considering entering.
Now in its ninth year, the Somerset Business Awards recognise and celebrate outstanding business success in the county and the number of entries received increases substantially each year. Previous Award winners often experience enhanced reputation and a healthy improvement in profits.
Speaking at a recent breakfast seminar – Profiting from Awards – aimed at companies wishing to enter the Somerset Business Awards, Mike Lind from Monkton Elm Garden and Pet Centre, said, “Winning the Albert Goodman Family Business of the Year award last year propelled our business forward and gave us an amazing amount of recognition and press attention – which is fantastic! Even now, our customers and suppliers congratulate us and ask about what we’ve done since.”
Short listed business will be invited to a glittering black tie event, which will be held in the newly refurbished Westland Conference and Leisure Complex, Yeovil on Thursday 24 October 2013.
