Apprentices – the missed opportunity

Grants and help are available for small and medium businesses (SMEs) in Somerset taking on apprentices.

There has never been a better time to take on an apprentice. According to the government, 502,500 young people started an apprenticeship in the 2011/2012 academic year. Speed Dating with an Accountant: Friday 23rd November

Robert Stone, Chartered Accountant and Tax Adviser in Ilminster, who writes a monthly column for The Visitor, has been invited by BBC Somerset to be interviewed on the Emma Britton show on Monday 19th November, 11.05am! He’s going to be talking about his Speed Dating with an Accountant event, which will take place during Ilminster’s Victorian Evening on Friday 23rd November between 6pm and 8.30pm at the Old Magistrate’s Court, East Street. The one-to-one sessions are free to attend although donations in aid of Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance will be appreciated.
