Apprentices – the missed opportunity
Grants and help are available for small and medium 
businesses (SMEs) in Somerset taking on apprentices.
There has never been a better time to take on an apprentice. According to the government, 502,500 young people started an apprenticeship in the 2011/2012 academic year.
