Mendip’s new public services hub takes an important step forward
Mendip District Council’s Cabinet will hear on Monday (11th March) how significant progress has been made towards establishing a public services hub in the centre of Mendip. Curry Rivel village hall gets upgrade to facilities after grant
Curry Rivel village hall boasts a new heating system, cooker and insulation thanks to the efforts of local volunteers and a little help from South Somerset District Council. As well as guidance and support from SSDC the project was awarded a grant of £4,500 by local councillors from the council’s community grants programme. The total cost of the project was £9,000.
