Hestercombe, near Taunton, is celebrating after winning gold at the Bristol, Bath and Somerset Tourism Awards in the category of Small Attraction of the Year. The awards, which feed into the South West Tourism Awards and the national Visit England Awards, are held every year and celebrate the great websites, reviews and social media interaction of destinations across the region. The Bishop’s Palace Gardens were given the accolade of being featured on BBC Gardener’s World last Friday evening.
