Steeleye Span are fast approaching their 50th anniversary, with a work rate to put many younger artists to shame. The bands’ eighth album in twelve years – 2016’s Dodgy Bastards – saw them return to the folk tales and characters that have always been at the heart of the Steeleye sound. Milestone membership for Frome Writers’ Collective
AFTER ONLY THREE YEARS, Frome Writers’ Collective is celebrating its 100th member, widely acclaimed blues artist and lyricist Eddie Martin. Eddie, who lives in Frome with his wife, artist Nicky Knowles who has also joined the Collective, has spent 25 years touring the world and has kept detailed journals of his visits to the 30 countries he has played in either as a solo artist or as band leader. Get Creative at Black Swan for BBC’s Nationwide Event
