Longleat Safari Park is enjoying a summer baby boom with no fewer than 20 monkeys, three rare Chinese deer, marmoset twins and two reindeer calves all making their first public appearances in recent weeks. The number of baby monkeys born is such that even the dominant male, known as Phil, has taken to helping out with babysitting duties. Full story: Read more
West Bradley Orchards is one of the country’s largest apple orchards and holds a series of ‘Pick Your Own’ weekends during the month of September. The weekends are very much a family day out. We invite people to join us for the day, bring their kids (dogs are welcome too!) and a picnic and enjoy a walk around the orchards while picking fruit. A group of lawyers from Clarke Willmott LLP in Taunton supported the annual Headway Somerset Dragon Boat Festival raising over £1500 for the local charity. Taking place on the River Tone, the event saw businesses and teams from across the region battle it out for several titles, including the coveted ‘Best Fancy Dress’ accolade which was once again retained by the Clarke Willmott team.
