A special concert to celebrate one of most enduring combination of instruments the fiddle and the banjo. Featuring a great triple bill including Kate Lissauer, The Gollywhoppers and Stompin’ Dave Allen. Champion fiddler Kate Lissauer originally from Maryland USA is leader of The Buffulo Gal’s who are fast becoming the UK’s favourite string band. Superb old-time duo The Gollywhoppers feature two stalwarts of the old-time scene Andrew Henley and Emily Poole. Bridport based banjo and fiddle man Stompin‘ Dave Allen has been described as “one of the world’s greatest performers” by Maverick Magazine. This is sure to be a real feel good concert and a fascinating exploration of some of the oldest forms of North American traditional music. A FAITHFUL replica of a racing machine so rare you’re never likely to see one in the flesh has been added to the line-up for Bristol’s biggest and best gathering of classic motorcycles. The Norton Domiracer 500cc, created by Chris Hawksley of Solo Motorcycle Products, joins two rare Moto Guzzi racers from the museum of ex-Grand Prix racer and trials legend Sammy Miller at the 33rd Carole Nash Bristol Classic Motorcycle Show on February 16-17.
