Macmillan Cancer Support Charity Oratorio: Haynes Motor Museum, Saturday 27 September
Macmillan Cancer Support Charity Oratorio performance of Omega and Alpha at Haynes Motor Museum on Saturday 27 September. The Castle Cary choir and friends will perform this oratorio with professionals from The Guildhall school of Music. The music and words have been composed by Martin Emslie and he will conduct the orchestra and choir on the night. Tickets are still available at bailey Hill Bookshop Castle Cary, Winstones Books in Sherborne or by calling 01963 359613. They cost £20 each and all attendees will have the chance to view cars in the Red Room at the museum before or after the performance.
Bumper Year for Charity Fun Dog Show
Staff at Ferne Animal Sanctuary in Wambrook, Near Chard, Somerset are celebrating due to the success of their annual Fun Dog Day held on Sunday 7th September 2014. Despite there being many other events on the same day, great weather encouraged a huge turnout of competitors and winners from Dorset, Devon and Somerset.
