Cheddar Male Choir celebrates a year’s work for charities and good causes by putting on their Annual Concert. This year’s concert, marks the 21st year of formation, and is being held in St Andrews Church in Cheddar. They will be joined by the renowned Cornish Treverva Male Voice Choir who are on a long weekend tour of our region. The concert will help to raise funds to keep the choir helping others raise money. Cheddar Male Choir helps other charities and good causes by singing around 12 concerts per year and they have assisted charities such as “The Children’s Hospice South West”, “Somerset and Dorset Air Ambulance”, “Freewheelers Blood Bikers”, “RAFA” “The Prince’s Trust” and numerous others.
The choir’s 21st annual concert is being held on 21st May at 7:30pm in St Andrews Church in Cheddar and will be a great celebration of songs from the musicals, pop charts, spirituals and some traditional male voice songs. Tickets are £8 and available from Deane’s of Cheddar, a choir member or on sale at the door on the night. Certainly this is a night not to be missed.
