arket on Saturday 8 June, Chartered Accountant Robert Stone – who is sponsoring the market – will be putting aside his calculator for the day and donning a pinny to team up with two “foodie” clients, ace cup cake maker Helen McDonald of The Buttercross Tearooms and Steve and Vicki Kiernan who run the Willows of Somerset delicatessen.
“I’m looking forward to being a market stallholder for the day,” said Robert. “I’m going to be giving out free delicious fairy cakes and savouries with just a dash of tax advice if someone has a question they need answering. We’ll also be raising money for Vaughan Lee House Residential Care Home in Ilminster, for whom I am trustee.”
Robert’s Tax ‘n’ Cake ‘n’ Deli stall can be found in Silver Street, from 9am-3pm.
