It is recognised that losing your sight can cause a loss of confidence, feeling alone and becoming isolated, but one of the legacies of the Paralympics and the Para-orchestra is that it does not have to be like that, so to this end, a choir is being formed for blind and partially sighted people living in Salisbury and surrounding areas.
Starting on Monday 24 September 2012, a free taster session will be held in Salisbury Baptist Church, Brown Street Salisbury from 10.45am to 12.45am followed by 5 weekly sessions, costing £22, on Monday 1 October.
If you need a lift, contact your local Library or Surgery for details of voluntary schemes. Do come and join us to meet friends and find support. It does not matter if you cannot sing, that will soon be resolved by our professional choir mistress.
