DAIRY SHORTHORN PAIR TAKE TOP HONOURS AT THE DAIRY SHOW
Yorkshire dairy farmer Ian Collins enjoyed huge success with his Dairy Shorthorn cows at the Dairy Show this week, taking home numerous ribbons and the interbreed pairs award. Mr Collins took top honours in a number of Dairy Shorthorn classes, including the breed championship with his cow Churchroyd Heather 50. Work in Wells Week a big success
Over 100 people turned out for the third annual Work in Wells Week, Trade Fair held in Wells Town Hall last month. Organised by the Mendip Hub and partners, Work in Wells Week took place from 14 – 18 September in various venues around Wells, and featured a series of free seminars and drop in events covering a varied range of business subjects. The trade fair took place on the Thursday as part of Work in Wells Week and featured 24 stalls, two speakers and Far Flung Foodie, who was a big hit come lunchtime. Full story: Read more
