Artists announced for NEW Creative Pathways programme ‘The Levels and Moors’- A professional development programme in conjunction with this year’s Somerset Art Week event
SAW are pleased to announce that after receiving a large amount of applications for the programme Liz Fathers, Joy Merron, Andrea Oke and Lucy Pendrick will be receiving the Creative Pathway’s bursary.
Creative Pathways is a professional development programme initiated by Somerset Art Works (SAW) that aims to provide tailor-made support for the organisations members to develop their practice and to deliver high-quality work. The theme of the project ‘The Levels and Moors’ aims to reflect the landscapes in Somerset and the organisation hopes that artists will create work specific to this and offer a unique artistic response to the visitor. More information regarding the programme can be found here.
Each artist in the programme will set up a temporary studio at an allocated venue that will open its doors during the Open Studio event (20th September to 5th October 2014).
