West Bradley Orchards is one of the country’s largest apple orchards and holds a series of ‘Pick Your Own’ weekends during the month of September. The weekends are very much a family day out.
West Bradley Orchards invite people to join us for the day, bring their kids (dogs are welcome too!) and a picnic and enjoy a walk around the orchards while picking fruit. It’s free to attend, people are just asked to pay for the apples they pick. There is an apple press available for people to turn the apples they’ve picked into fresh juice that they can bottle and take home.
There is also have a small pear orchard for people to pick from. On the day we will have for sale Orchard Pig’s cider and apple juice, plus local honey.
This year there will be holding Pick Your Own weekends over the last 4 weekends of the month of September as follows:
- Friday 8th, Saturday 9th, Sunday 10th September – 10am to 5pm
- Friday 15th, Saturday 16th, Sunday 17th September – 10am to 5pm
- Friday 22nd, Saturday 23rd, Sunday 24th September – 10am to 5pm
- Friday 29th, Saturday 30th, Sunday 31st September – 10am to 5pm
