A lost little black kitten got the ride of its life when it was found under the wheel-arch of a council vehicle that travelled from Yeovil to Bruton!
The kitten was believed to have boarded the vehicle at South Somerset District Council’s Lufton Depot on Artillery Road in Yeovil, where staff got a shock when they arrived in Bruton and discovered their extra passenger on Wednesday 16 July.
Searches for the owner have yet to result in the kitten being reunited with its owners. Are you missing a female black/brown kitten, aged roughly 8-12 weeks old from the Artillery Road area in Yeovil?
If so, and you believe the kitten to be yours, please contact South Somerset District Council’s Streetscene Services on 01935 462839.
Councillor Jo Roundell Greene, Portfolio Holder for Environment said, “We really hope the owner of the kitten comes forward so that it can be back at home after its traumatic ride. If you are missing a little black kitten and are reading this, please get in contact with the district council so you can be reunited.”
